Poker Stars has just announced the first half of the schedule for the upcoming eighth season of its revered European Poker Tour, with two poker festivals amid stops in Spain, the UK, France, Italy, the Czech Republic and the Bahamas.
The European Poker Tour is gearing up for its eighth season and its creator and host Poker Stars has just announced the schedule for the first half of that season. The PokerStars EPT Season 8 will kick off August 2 – 7, 2011 at Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.
The EPT Tallinn is the first of seven stops slated to mark the first half of season 8, with the other stops being in Barcelona, Spain; London, England; Deauville, France; San Remo, Italy; and Prague, the Czech Republic, and the Bahamas.
Most of the EPT 8 schedule so far looks very similar to schedules for this leg of European Poker Tours of the past, with the notable exception of the dates for the EPT San Remo, which have changed to late October from its former slot of mid-April. The specific dates for the EPT San Remo are October 21 – 27.
The EPT London takes place September 30 – October 5 and is one of two Festivals of Poker on the schedule, the other being the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) in the Bahamas on January 5 – 14, 2012.
The EPT Deauville wraps up the first half of season 8 of the European Poker Tour, January 31 – February 6, 2012.
